Optimization of mechanical screw presses for oil extraction, investigation of physical properties of selected oilseed crops, description of mechanical and relaxation behaviour of selected oilseed crops in compression loading. Examination of the effect of compression factors such as moisture content, heat treatment temperature, compressive force and pressing speed on the mechanical behaviour and deformation characteristic curves of selected oilseed crops. Analysis of energy utilization for oil extraction. Future research on chemical analyses of jatropha and palm kernel oil. Oilseed crops mainly under study include Rape, Sunflower, Oil Palm and Jatropha (Renewable Energy Crop). |
